BMItalia has created all the custom-made furnishings and accessories by carrying out the executive design of the project of the designer Fabio Gianoli, who has been able to best interpret the customer's needs.
BMItalia has also created all the scenographic elements giving life to a unique environment.

Designer Fabio Gianoli talks about the Kanto Feeling Experience project:

KANTO 'is a Japanese restaurant located in Colico, on Lake Como, inside a classic building with a strange and light oriental flavor.
This is the first time that I try to imagine a Japanese restaurant, it has always fascinated me their culture and their style so I wanted to find the right way to give it a strong and respectful aspect of their philosophy.
I wanted a neat, symmetrical, rigorous project but at the same time with important details like their dishes that I got to see and try.
The building lent itself very much to this project: a regular plan that I wrapped in a perimetric cage in iron pipes to which bright shelves were added with sagging green plants and various oriental-style objects, all amplified by the cladding mirrored walls that give even more depth and breadth to the restaurant.
The restaurant is split over two levels. In both spaces of the rooms revolve around a central core.

On the ground floor this is the fully visible bar and sushi preparation block located behind the reception area.

On the first floor, however, the bar and sushi counter are located on the back wall while the central block consists of a raised private area always shielded by the perimeter cage.
To access the upper floor, you can use the internal lift or via the stairs which are enriched on the perimeter by a full-height net curtain that encloses the entire compartment over 10 ml high.
While a wallpaper covers the elevator block in the center.
The first floor guest services are impressive, where the concept of symmetry of the project is repeated, and where the disengagement of the four toilets is occupied centrally by a double island basin in black metal surmounted by a four-sided suspended mirror.
