BM Italia realised the customised furnishing elements for a private apartment in Tirano
Custom furniture Private Apartment
BM Italia created the custom-made furniture for the DM Apartment, an attic with double-height spaces designed by architect Stefano Viganò. This project involved the creation of furniture solutions for different areas of the house, from the bookcase to the living area, kitchen, bedrooms and bathrooms.
Executive Design
From architect Stefano Viganò's project, BM Italia developed the executive design for the production of the custom-made furniture. Each element was designed to perfectly integrate with the unique architecture of the attic, making the most of the double-height spaces.
Living Area and Fireplace
The protagonist of the project is the living area, a convivial area organised around the fireplace, which separates the dining area from the studio/bookcase. This arrangement creates a cosy and functional environment, ideal for everyday life and for social occasions.
Kitchen Island and Studio
The kitchen island is characterised by the presence of an iron pergola introduced to balance the double height. On the opposite side, the study is separated from the rest of the room by a large four-door door in iron and glass, dominated by the bookcase. This layout makes it possible to create distinct spaces while maintaining a continuous flow between the different areas of the house.
Natural and Textural Materials
Natural and textural materials such as reclaimed fir wood, oak, iron, glass and stone were chosen for this project. These elements give warmth and character to the spaces, creating an elegant and harmonious environment.
