A new image for the Holy Cow chain, gourmet burger company
Holy Cow - Gourmet Burger Company
BM Italia was commissioned to redesign the image of this Swiss chain starting with their first fast-food restaurant at the Grancia Centre in Lugano.
An industrial and modern restyling
The space took shape at the hands of designer Fabio Gianoli: the ‘industrial’ style, made up of exposed brick walls, dark colours and metal, was chosen to characterise the restaurant. The focal point is the bar/ordering area in the centre of the venue, characterised by a luminous volume at the top. Like a merry-go-round inside an amusement park, this central illuminated block is intended to attract customers and show them the available menu. The lettering is inspired by the signs of old American cinemas and theatres; lighting and text can be changed according to the time of day. This first concept-restaurant in Lugano is not just for lunch or dinner, the aim is to bring it to life at all times of the day.
There are also several spaces designed for the customer, such as lounge areas at the entrance to the restaurant, convivial snack tables with stools, but also an old foosball table, expressly desired by the customer. Illuminated lettering, lighting and vintage accessories complete the restyling of this burger joint.
